Southern Hospitality is proud to have partnered with JW Marriott Auckland to deliver a comprehensive kitchen and buffet solution as part of the hotel’s recent rebranding. This five-star property now stands as a showcase for Aotearoa’s culinary heritage, with premium dining experiences across the Executive Lounge, Trivet, Kureta, and the Forum lobby bar. Each space was meticulously designed to ensure efficient workflow, seamless functionality, and the elevated standards expected of a world-class hotel.
Seamless Integration for Distinctive Venues
JW Marriott Auckland required a hospitality fit-out that could support multiple venues, each with its own unique service style and operational demands. From teppan-style cooking to a dual-purpose lobby bar and contemporary all-day dining, the challenge was to create high-performance, visually cohesive kitchen and service areas capable of handling volume, versatility, and premium presentation.
Our team worked closely with the project stakeholders to integrate kitchen and bar operations, ensuring a smooth launch for these elevated hospitality venues. Trivet, a key dining destination within the hotel, features a globally inspired menu shaped by New Zealand’s cultural diversity. To support this, we developed a flexible kitchen layout focused on flow, efficiency, and adaptability, empowering the culinary team to deliver a wide variety of dishes using local ingredients, all while meeting the expectations of a five-star environment.
