Nga Puna Wai

Nga Puna Wai Sports Hub is Christchurch's new sporting home for Canterbury athletics, hockey, tennis and rugby league. Nga Puna Wai comprises 32 hectares of recreation and esplanade reserve and other park land beside Canterbury Agricultural Park, near Wigram. Council staff and other stakeholders identified it as the preferred site for to replace sporting facilities damaged in the earthquakes.

Southern Hospitality in collaboration with Studio 106, Project Stainless Ltd and Project Mechanical Ltd is proud to have been chosen to work with Hawkins to complete Kitchen fit-out.

For the cookline, we put in a Blue Seal Electric Griddle, an Electric Cooktop, a Simply Stainless Infill Bench, and a Turbofan E32D4 combi oven set on a Turbofan SK32 stand.

The Moffat kitchen equipment is supported by a Delta extraction hood made by Project Mechanical Ltd. and all Stainless Steel benches were fabricated by Project Stainless Ltd in Christchurch.

The kitchen also featured Eurochill Summit's upright refrigeration range comprising of single door chiller, freezer and double door chiller.

Custom stainless-steel prep benches with sinks and mobile island benches which are all fabricated by Project Stainless Ltd.

We also installed Birko wall mounted water heater.

Project Stainless also custom fabricated the dishwash benching and sinks in the wash area all connected to a Starline M2 passthrough dishwasher. The sink also has a Fisher pre-rinse faucet fitted and Leader 4 tier shelving for crockery storage.

In addition to the kitchen we also supplied and installed a Skope BB780 Bottle chiller, Starline GM under-bench glass/dish washer and small under-bench Ice machine to the bar area.
