Lower Hutt Events Centre

The Lower Hutt Events Centre is a 1300-seater state of the art function & conference venue attracting local, domestic and international events. The facility enables the Hutt City to host events and conferences that will greatly boost the vibrancy of the central Hutt and play a big part in driving our local economy forward. The stimulus this will give to the central city will include flow-on effects to moteliers, restaurants and retailers, the creation of new jobs, and the boost to the economy in general.

Just twenty minutes from Wellington, the Events Centre will be one of the most functional, modern event centres of its size in the country. Its flexible design means it will be able to cater to a range of community and commercial events, including multi-day conference.

We played a big part in the development and implementation of their cafe and kitchen areas. The job took approximately 2 to 3 months of solid groundwork to fully complete it. We also won all the sundries and chemicals for the site too.

Café Front

We fitted the front of the house with a Festive DH9 Heated Display Cabinet and a Festive Devon DCI9 Chilled Display Cabinet. Not seen in the image, but we also fitted a Waldorf Cookline consisting of a Waldorf RN8816GE 1200mm Gas Range with electric Static oven, a Waldorf FN8120G 450mm Gas Fryer Single pan, a Turbofan E33D5 with a stand, Starline CD150 Dual Speed Dishwasher, and a Friginox MX2-7 Blast Chiller

Kitchen Area

We supplied a Waldorf BP8080E 900mm Electric Tilting Bratt Pan, Two Metos Viking Kettles - 1 Combi 150E and one Static 100E and two 2 Door Delta Undercounter Glass Door Chillers.

Two Waldorf RN8609G-LS 900mm Gas Cooktops and Two Waldorf FN8120G 450mm Gas Single Pan Fryers, A Scotsman MV60AS Ice Maker Head with NB393 Storage Bin were installed. Our Project Stainless Steam had designed and built all Stainless steel benches, shelves, spine walls and hot cupboards.

Lastly, we installed two Convotherm C4GBT20.20C Combi Ovens
