Bangalore Polo Club / Amazonita Christchurch

Bangalore Polo Club / Amazonita which fell victim to the Christchurch Earthquakes. The public has been eager to see its return! They have been revitalized into a smaller cocktail/speakeasy bar just offering bar snacks fed out of the Amazonita Kitchen. The Bangalore Polo club has a British Indian look an feel and Amazonitia has an aesthetic inspired by the spirit and charm of the Amazon and its menu is inspired by the diverse culinary palate and traditions of their Mediterranean roots. Both Bangalore Polo and Amazonita have been refurbished with a new, polished and truly unique look and feel.

Southern Hospitality is proud to have designed and helped implement their new kitchen. We are very excited to see their heavily inspired menu come to life this brand-new environment.

Andy Rayneau came up with a preliminary design of the kitchen, then passed it over to our Project Design team who drew up a design in CAD and our Project team helped implement the equipment. 

We installed a Convotherm 10.10 Combi Oven and Waldorf Bold line up in black. The line included 2 Waldorf Bold Fryers, 1 griddle toaster, 1 x6 burner range with oven and 1 pasta cooker. We included various under-counter fridges from the brands: Delta, Eurochill and Mercatus. Our Project Stainless team implemented custom benches and Simply Stainless wall shelves. We had powder coated bench ends installed to cover the refrigeration and match the Waldorf Bold line.

A Starline M2C Pass-through was installed along with 3 Black Starline Undercounter GL glasswashers with 2x ROS systems.

We supplied Bangalore Polo Club / Amazonita with a broad range of Temuka Pottery crockery in custom colours and we supplied a custom stainless bar top with a range of barware.
