Skyline Queenstown Redevelopment

  • Client: Naylor Love
  • Sector: Hospitality
  • Project: Hospitality
  • Location: Queenstown
  • Completed: October 2026
  • Construction: Naylor Love
  • Team: Project Design | Project Stainless | Project Mechanical | Project Delivery Team
  • Architect/Design: SHL

Set high above Queenstown on the iconic Bob's Peak, the Skyline Queenstown Redevelopment Stage 4 project delivers a new hospitality destination designed to support the region's growing tourism and events market. Designed by SHL and constructed by Naylor Love, the development includes new restaurant and bar facilities capable of accommodating up to 550 guests across conference, event, and dining spaces.

Following the award of the supply and fit-out contract in March 2025, Southern Hospitality was engaged to deliver the commercial kitchen and foodservice equipment package for the project. The mountain-top location presented significant logistical challenges, with the site situated approximately 500 metres above Queenstown and accessible only via a winding service road and Skyline's gondola system.

Working closely with the construction team, Southern Hospitality coordinated the transportation, delivery, installation, and commissioning of equipment across multiple hospitality facilities, including the main production kitchen, restaurant buffet, all-day bistro kitchen, gelato bar, and bakery. All equipment was transported to site by container before being carefully unloaded and installed by our specialist projects team.

The first stage of the fit-out was successfully completed in March 2026, helping create a world-class hospitality experience that showcases the spectacular Queenstown setting while supporting Skyline's continued growth as a premier visitor destination.
