Arcade Burger Lambton Square & Eatery, Wellington

Arcade Burger is an eatery located in Lambton Quay Shopping Centre on Wellington’s viaduct that opened early August 2018.

If you’re after an affordable, premium alternative to typical burger joints, then Arcade Burger is for you. Arcade Burger is driven by a desire to go back to a time when life was simpler, less stressful and more fun! And they have indeed, sporting a small menu that consists of burgers named after famous 80s’ Arcade games. Their menu accommodates all dietary requirements in a tasty and original way.

Southern Hospitality is proud to help Arcade Burger out with their back-of-house equipment requirements to get them off to a successful start.

We installed 2 450mm Blue Seal GT46 Vee-ray fryers, a 300mm Blue Seal benchtop griddle, and a Starline GM under-counter glass and dishwasher. All of this fitted out their kitchen in a practical and compact way. Making it easy to fry multiple sides and cook many patties all at the same time. Washing up becomes a breeze with their new Starline.

Here you see an under-counter three-door bar chiller from Delta. Efficiently placed for easy access for the front of house staff. Above that, we supplied a Haymans four bulb heat lamp to keep food warm in-transit as it goes from kitchen to customer.

At the counter, we installed a Turbofan Prover Holder for easy toasting and heating, along with our Delta chilled food preparation counter. Customers can see what the burger fillings being prepared and facilitates transparency between customer and establishment.

In the corner, we installed a 600mm Blue Seal griddle for quick and easy patty flipping.

Underneath the Haymans heat lamp, we fitted a Eurochill two door chiller. To the right of that, we installed a one door Delta freezer.
