Te Pae is a world-class convention venue, with a bespoke design and purpose-built to respond to a full range of event requirements for the city.
To assist with the success of this architectural and social landmark, Southern Hospitality has been involved in the journey of Te Pae for over 8 years, providing recommendations and foodservice advice at an early stage . The beauty of this exceptional global venue is the large element of truly local expertise involved- from the design and project management to the supplied products. Keeping things local, the project included the installation of NZ Made products from Project Stainless Christchurch, Skope and Festivé.
Working with the local community and local iwi, as well as industry and sector thought-leaders from across the region, Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre will become a showcase of the very best of Canterbury and the wider South Island.
With banquet space seating for 1,800, a 1,400 seater tiered auditorium, 24 meeting rooms and an exhibition space over 3,300m², the time to connect face-to-face couldn’t come sooner and in a more unique environment.
