The vision and brief for Nectar Bar & Eatery from Jess, the owner was clear- to create a welcoming eatery and bar that is accessible to everyone! A place that offers brunch, lunch and dinner with a varied cuisine for all palates. A place for friends to share plates, workmates to share drinks or enjoy brunch. An elevated dining experience in Tauranga for everything from morning coffee to coffee cocktails! 

Southern Hospitality assisted with the back-of-house kitchen design and front of house bar area, installing custom-made stainless steel bar benches from Project Stainless. The bar includes a stainless steel bench with plenty of Glassware storage and with 2x cocktail stations including ice wells to serve up the varied cocktail menu late into the night.  

Back of house includes an extraction hood from Project Mechanical and a cookline to be envious of including Blue Seal 6 Burner Range EMB92, Blu Seal 600mm Gas Chargrill EMB105, Vee Ray Gas Fryer EMB129 and a Hatco Glo Ray Food Warmer EH3. 

Brunch includes new favourites like confit duck hash and crab & chorizo benedict, while the small plates cover vegetarian deliciousness like celeriac ribbons and brussel sprouts cooked with honey dates, cashew and pomegranate! A varied and changing menu needing a variety of commercial cooking equipment. 

A compact and tidy washup area was designed and fitted by  Project Stainless  with fitted custom shelving as well as Simply Stainless benches. An Air-cooled self-contained ice machine and a Skope Freezer and Skope underbench chiller prep unit were also included in this well-equipped functional commercial kitchen. Simply Stainless Shelving was used in much of the wall space to make the most of space for storage.
