Product Description
This Temuka Platter is ideal for serving berries, nuts, olives, dips, cheese, meat, bread, and crackers. With a length of 320mm and 260mm, this Terra Temuka Platter is part of the Wave collection. This crockery range is ideal for various restaurants and cafés and complements delicious food with great design.
The glazes on Temuka pieces are fired to 1200 Deg.C. These are applied to bisque porcelain (also fired to 1200 Deg.C.). This ensures that the glazes are as hard and as durable as it is possible to make them as they become part of the porcelain. Because of this and the absence of water absorption, the glazes will not craze in normal conditions. Lead is not used in the glazes, which means they are always food safe.

Wave Range
Inspired by our rivers and beaches, our iconic Wave design features undulating designs in the clay. These little ribs provide a rim border that accentuates the main event within.
The Terra glaze on wave, brings in a textured earthy tone, with bold rims and little glaze runs, giving an authentic, natural warm presentation space complimented by a selection of high-sided Scandi Shapes.
Our Wave style features undulating circular corrugations formed in the clay. Layered glazes respond to these ribs, throwing highlights and character where it's pulled from the edge during firing, creating the appearance of a rim around the plate or bowl. This pooling of the thick glaze produces the random and unique characteristics of hand-crafted ceramics.
