The vibrancy of the forever resilient hospitality industry shone brightly at the postponed Canterbury Hospitality Awards held on Sunday 21st November 2021.
Presented by the Restaurant Association, the awards celebrate not only the excellent customer service, quality and healthy competitiveness of the Canterbury Establishments but also the resilience of the hospo crew across the region.
Southern Hospitality congratulates all the winners and is proud to sponsor the Emerging Chef category. Shout out to this year’s winner Chef Jackson Melhopt from gin gin, a buzzing cocktail bar serving a seasonal menu ranging from NZ Wagyu Bone Marrow Parfait to Vegan Flatbread. gin gin also took out the Outstanding Bar and Outstanding New Establishment Accolades, well done Canterbury!
