The Atrium Cafe

City Church in Tauranga wanted to open a café in their new building and we approached them to do this early 2018. Southern Hospitality in conjunction with Project Stainless and Project Mechanical completed this project and The Atrium Café was opened in mid-August 2018.

We fitted the kitchen with a Turbofan E35 oven, a Blue Seal griddle, an oven range with a 4 burner cookrange with oven and a deep fryer. Project Mechanical supplied the Low Flo extraction hood to remove the heat and grease and a Delta extractor for the dishwasher.

We added a Cossiga cabinet to display all their delicious food. The cabinet is set on castors so that it can be stowed away when not in use.

We also fitted the front counter with a Brita Still and Sparkling water dispenser. You will also notice an entire tray of Libbey glasses and carafes beside the dispenser.

We also added a Delta double bottle chiller for cold beverages, a Fiamma double contact grill and a Menumaster microwave to heat up the food before it is served.

The kitchen also has a Delta 4 door under counter chiller and a Delta chest freezer which both double up as kitchen islands.

Project Stainless also fitted the kitchen with custom stainless steel benches and shelves and a dishwashing bench to go with their Starline M2 dishwasher.

We were also able to fit-in a Tonon shelf in the back of the store. Tonon has specialised in the construction of certified custom-made equipment for the food and beverage industry.

Southern Hospitality also provided them with a range of cookware items such as GN and steam pans, frying pans and Accolade Tierra Crockery.
