Introducing Temuka Pottery

Temuka Pottery is Southern Hospitality’s newest crockery offering and they are a 100% New Zealand made product!

Each shape has been designed and made by hand, the original piece is then moulded for production. This process allows each piece to keep the uniqueness of handmade crockery. This product is vitrified at over 1200ºC with the usual benefits of edge strength and chip resistance.

Temuka’s artisans apply the glazes by hand creating the layered and textured effects. These designs are not only just reflective of the current fashion but they are the trend setters themselves without compromising on the quality of the ceramics themselves.

Although Temuka Pottery products are available in the following 3 shapes, it is important to note that Southern Hospitality can produce Temuka crockery of any size, shape, colour, glaze and patterns, so if you like to have crockery that is as unique as your establishment, give us a call at 0800 503 335 or reach out to your Southern Hospitality representative.

Potter's mark

Bowls and plates designed and made to have the potters finger rings from the original wheel in each piece. This range is available in stock from our website or contact us to get a quote.

Classic Coupe

Same shapes as the Potter's mark range although without the potters finger rings to achieve a smooth finish. These will be available in store soon, please contact us if you’d like to get your crockery sooner.

Freedom

Freedom range has the wavy edges to give a natural or free look, a different shape and feel for the more traditional potters and coupe ranges. These will be available in store soon, please contact us if you’d like to get your crockery sooner.
