An update from us on COVID-19

At Southern Hospitality, we are taking active steps to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Our priority is the Health and Safety of our people, their families and our customers, and we will continue to implement changes to ensure we adhere to Ministry of Health guidelines.

We have taken action to improve hygiene standards in our distribution centres, office spaces and in our stores.

In line with Government guidelines we have cancelled all overseas business travel and will only travel locally for essential matters. Our sales force have been asked to contact customers via phone & email, however we understand every customer is different, so if you would like one our team to visit you, please get in touch with us. 

We have spent the last 12 months updating our website and this is proving to be an excellent way for our customers to order their essential products whilst respecting social distancing recommendations. Our supply chain remains in good condition with most of our China based suppliers returning to business as usual with slightly longer lead times. We are now receiving reports of delays with Italian suppliers. Early indications are these delays are a matter of days or weeks, not months. There are a few minor issues with specific items due to increased demand. We are currently addressing these in an endeavor to reduce disruption for our customers.

Southern Hospitality is prepared for further change, and we have Business Continuity Plans for all areas of our organisation. This includes plans for working in isolation and ensuring our distribution centres keep dispatching goods to our customers.
